Southeastern WRI Region FY26 Proposal Meeting

Join us for the Southeastern Region WRI Project Presentation meeting, which will be held next Wednesday, Feb 12 from 10am to approximately 3pm at the Green River Public Safety Building at 570 Main St. in Green River. WRI will be providing lunch.
During this meeting, leads for each of this year’s proposed projects in our region will present their projects to everyone in attendance, including members of this year’s ranking committee for our region. All those in attendance and ranking committee members will then have the opportunity to ask questions of the project leads and make suggestions for projects as well. We strongly encourage everyone who can to attend in person, but will have a remote option available and also a recording of the presentations for the few ranking committee members who aren’t able to make it either in person or virtually.
For those who plan to attend, especially ranking committee members, we hope that you’ll all have a chance to look through each project proposal in advance of the meeting and come prepared with questions. For ease, I’m linking each project’s WRI website page in a hyperlink on the presentation schedule. Please note that although we’ve allotted 15 minutes for each presentation and questions/ engagement with project leads, this process is often a LOT quicker depending on individual projects, so although we have a tentative schedule, if you’re a presenter, its in your best interest to be paying attention for most of meeting, since your project could sneak up a lot faster than anticipated!
