The project depicted in the SUWA ad was funded and completed through the State of Utah’s Watershed Restoration Initiative (WRI).

After careful consideration of WRI regional rankings and funding source priorities, WRI announces the list of partial and fully funded projects for state fiscal year 2018.  WRI was able to find funding this year for nearly 100 of the 131 projects submitted.  Nearly 18.5 million dollars in funding through WRI will be matched with another 10 million in other partner
